India: the spiteful present and the past

Every year, the Militarised Pilgrimage for forty days is a nightmarish experience for Muslim Kashmir. Hundreds and thousands of Indian Hindutva crowds barge into Kashmir, under a plan, to browbeat, harass and intimidate the local population. Hindus believe their Lord Shiva narrated the story of eternity to his “consort” Parvati. The glacier, as believed, takes the shape of Shiva’s organ (Lingam) and keeps on changing the shape as it melts due to the change in the weather conditions.

Dalit’s spiritual and political leader Baba Sahib Ambedkar in his masterpiece Riddles In Hinduism quoting Hindu scriptures mentions about the CASE OF SHIVA AND THE SWELLING AND DIMINISHING PENIS. Baba Sahib quotes “Shiva is described as the lord of thieves, robbers, dacoits, as the king of degraded, of potters and blacksmiths. The question is how the Brahmans ventured to accept this king of thieves and robbers as their supreme god. Hindus all over India accept without shame or remorse the virtue of Linga Puja – Phallus worship. This phallus worship is associated with Shiva and it is commonly held that the true way of worshipping Shiva is to worship the Shiva Linga. Was Linga puja always associated with Shiva?”

Soon after the coronation of Prime Minister Modi; BJP’s crafty schemes and stratagem started unfolding. People in India and the world at large could see the writing on the wall. Hindus already disillusioned with thousands of year’s way of life are converting to Christianity, Buddhism or Islam. Kashmir uprising of 1989 an alarming situation gained momentum when previous Congress government started parleys through interlocutors with Kashmiri leaders to reach to some political settlement.

BJP and its associate concerns RSS, Bajrang Dal, Sang Parivar, Hindu Mahasabha and other lunatic fringe groups were already aiming to create a Rashtra (country) only for Hindus and annex other small nations like Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Pakistan. The Congress government headed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was regarded as a government run by the fifth column. A quick control on the body politic of the country, which Hindutva brigade thought was disintegrating, became vitally important. To create fear psychosis; the carnage including lynching started to harass, browbeat and intimidate minorities to convey a message to Hindu masses that conversion to other faiths was not a good option as Hindus converting will face the wrath on the scale now evidenced on daily basis. The ruse worked but on the contrary, more people converted and the process is on but this time it is done secretly and clandestinely. The saner elements of the Hindu society understood the game plan and did not approve of the sadistic psychopath organisations pounce on their fellow compatriots. Since India’s independence in 1947 Congress rule of Pandit Nehru always saw riots imposed on minorities, Muslims in particular, in the areas they saw the community was coming up economically. Organised Hindu mob violence backed by army and paramilitary forces would shatter the economic backbone of the targeted community. It would take years for them to stand back on their feet leaving no time to bring the families up in the fields of education, economy etc. But now Modi coming to power changed everything for worse in a very brazen manner.

Prepositioning by its special forces a couple of nuclear bombs in Washington and New York and letting the world know we have done so will give India freedom to test thermonuclear weapons designs, ICBMs, etc., as much as it wants, though India already has this freedom but for the nigger-slaves.

Alternatively, twenty kiloton bombs can be prepositioned in the largest U.S. cities and then Washington and New York destroyed with the warning that additional U.S. cities will be destroyed if there is any retaliation. The nuclear destruction of New Delhi — without waiting — is all that is needed to make India win”.

With the passage of time, non-aligned and Soviet Union relationship dumped, the website sify.com removed the article and it is not difficult to know why?

ARUNDHATI ROY A HUMAN RIGHT ACTIVIST

For Modi’s India Arundhati Roy, a human rights activist or JKLF chief Yasin Malik are the “terrorists” because both have one thing in common that they fight for the people’s rights. Malik for years is enjoying sojourn in Delhi’s Tihar Jail (prison) and Ms Roy with a serious threat to her life roams around from one country to another.

Looking at the current political and economic situation in India; it seems Modi got it completely wrong. Playing the Hindutva card he wasn’t properly briefed by his think tank that he is fishing in troubled waters and could be detrimental for India’s integrity and the unity. Kashmir lava already erupted, Khalistan ready to explode and the Christian Belt of North-East sitting on a dormant volcano is waiting in the wings.

However, the spoilers of the Afghan game are also at work and the peace acquired in Afghanistan is not welcome. India backed by some powers are working hard to sabotage the effort for a peaceful resolution to allow Afghanistan have a self government to put an end to decades old conflict. The right thinking people of the world believe that Afghanistan, like other nations, has a right to live peacefully and must be allowed this chance.

Kashmir, by the same yardstick, needs peace as it also suffered immensely at the hands of occupational forces leaving more than one hundred thousand dead, hundreds of women raped, thousands disappeared and many thousands languishing in Indian prisons. Properties worth billions have been razed and economy shattered. A large percentage of population suffering from trauma and mental problems needs immediate medical attention. Kashmir needs freedom from forces having no right to occupy.

It is reassuring and supportive to see that world is now taking a serious interest in resolving the long standing Kashmir conflict having imprints of a nuclear showdown which the world can ignore only at its own peril.
